What Tokaido Duo plays like
- You control three characters simultaneously:
- Pilgrim: Visit temples, gardens, seashores and hot springs for spiritual progress.
- Merchant: Collect and sell handcrafted wares to earn coin and points.
- Artist: Paint scenic vistas and gift them to locals to score.
- Each turn players perform a quick dice draft to steer the three characters along separate tracks around Shikoku — pace matters, and choices create a threefold journey of strategy and story.
- Earn points by completing each character’s jobs while balancing movement, resources and timing. The game is a peaceful race that rewards planning and tactical drafting more than aggression.
