Embrace the mystical energy of the Lung Mei, or dragon paths, that traverse the Earth, inspired by the Four Auspicious Beasts: the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Tortoise of the North. When these paths align straight, their energy intensifies, but barriers like mountains can disrupt this flow. Harness the power of the Four Auspicious Beasts, channel their energy across the Earth, and achieve victory in this engaging battle for qi and wisdom that will determine your fate and intertwine it with legendary Beasts.

In Azure, players strategically place their stones to gather qi (cards) and wisdom (points). They vie for the support of the Auspicious Beasts to aid them on their journey. The first player to reach the end of the path of wisdom is declared the winner.

Players take turns placing stones, collecting boons from covered spaces, and earning the favor of Auspicious Beasts. To place a stone in a space, players must pay the accompanying qi cost. The domain’s color indicates the required qi color, while the number of boon symbols in a space reveals the required qi amount. By cleverly managing the qi cards in hand, players can enhance their power.

Thanks to the four double-sided boards that can be connected, flipped, and oriented in various ways to create a 2×2 grid, Azure boasts over 24,000 unique layouts, ensuring vast replayability.
