Description
Kastelan Robots — 2‑unit Plastic Kit with Cybernetica Datasmith
A colossal testament to ancient machine-craft and the Adeptus Mechanicus’ mastery of recovered technology, the Kastelan Robots are walking engines of ruin: slow, unstoppable and utterly obedient. These titanic constructs were forged ten thousand years ago and—without the constant guidance of a Cybernetica Datasmith—will execute orders with merciless literalness. When commanded to destroy, they do so with catastrophic efficiency.
What’s included
- 95 multi-part plastic components to assemble two Kastelan Robots and one Cybernetica Datasmith.
- Kastelan weapon options:
- Two sets of power fists for brutal close combat.
- Two sets of twin‑linked phosphor blasters for sustained anti‑infantry energy fire.
- Two carapace‑mounted weapons (one incendine combustor and one phosphor blaster) to tailor the robots’ role on the battlefield.
- Cybernetica Datasmith options:
- Armed with a gamma pistol and dataspike.
- Servo arm assembly with rivet gun and a prehensile socket drill for on‑the‑fly reprogramming and maintenance.
- Choice of two heads for visual variation.
- Bases: two Citadel 60mm Round Bases for the Kastelan Robots; one Citadel 32mm Round Base for the Cybernetica Datasmith.
Assembly and customisation This kit provides significant pose and loadout flexibility so you can field two distinct Kastelan constructs. The variety of weapon and head options, plus the Datasmith’s servo arm and tools, allow for dynamic dioramas—show the Datasmith perilously adjusting a walking war engine, or set both Kastelans charging under volleys of phosphor fire. Parts are compatible with other ranges for conversions and further personalization.
Model care and painting Supplied unassembled and unpainted. For best results use a plastic adhesive (such as Citadel Plastic Glue) and Citadel Colour paints. Careful trimming, pinning for heavy components, and basing will enhance stability and presentation given the models’ size and weight.
Why collectors and players choose it
- Iconic, imposing units that serve as both a battlefield centerpiece and a modelling showcase.
- Flexible weapon loadouts let you tailor the pair for anti‑infantry suppression, close combat, or mixed support roles.
- The Cybernetica Datasmith adds character, narrative and the essential in‑lore control element—perfect for display and tabletop storytelling.
Add these ancient war engines to your force for slow, inexorable destruction delivered with precision—provided the Datasmith keeps the orders up to date.
