Description
The Chimera remains a staple in Astra Militarum armies as a reliable transport and fire-support vehicle. Designed for durability and versatility, this vehicle can safely carry infantry into the fiercest combat zones while simultaneously offering robust firepower. Its turret can be fitted with a multi-laser, heavy bolter, or heavy flamer, allowing you to tailor its main weapon to your tactical needs. The hull-mounted weapons include a heavy bolter or flamer, and six lasguns along its sides provide additional fire support for dismounted troops.
This multipart plastic kit provides everything needed to assemble one Chimera, with options to customize the hatch—either closed or open, with an exposed crew member. The crew can be customized with different heads and arms, while accessories like searchlights, comms systems, towing hooks, and the regimental aquila sigil allow for further personalization. Upgrades such as a hunter-killer missile, dozer blade, or pintle-mounted storm bolter or heavy stubber make this vehicle highly adaptable for different battlefield roles.
The kit contains 95 plastic components and includes an Astra Militarum Vehicle Transfer Sheet with tactical markings, numerals, and heraldry to add authentic Ian regimental detail. It is supplied unpainted and requires assembly, with Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel colour paints recommended for the best results.
