Upwords is the high-stacking word game that brings a new level of strategy and fun to family game nights! Transform simple words into more complex ones by stacking letter tiles on top of existing words—can you turn dog into log? In Upwords, every turn is an opportunity to build, change, and score points.

Gameplay:

• Players take turns forming words on either an 8×8 or 10×10 grid.

• Words can be created horizontally or vertically, like traditional word games, but Upwords allows you to stack letters up to 5 tiles high, altering existing words into new ones.

• For example, LATE can become CATER and then BELATED by strategically adding tiles on top.

• Points are scored based on tile placement:

  • Words one tile high earn 2 points per tile.

  • Stacked tiles earn 1 point per tile, including those underneath.

• Form multiple words in a single turn to earn bonus points.
