Blank Slate is the party game you need this Christmas. It has been around since 2018, but thanks to videos on TickTok it has been picking up fans at an alarming rate. Blank Slate requires at least 3 players, but works best with a group of 6 to 8.
The way it works: each round a cue card is selected. On it is a word with a Blank either before or after it. Examples are _____ STAR or SPEED ____. After the card is revealed, each player will secretly write the word they think completes the phrase the best. The trick is that they are trying to match with another players word. Any players who match words score points, and the rest score nothing for that round.
It is a simple game, with a boat load of fun. 
The reason we love Blank Slate so much is because it is endlessly re-playable. Unlike a trivia game, where once you read the answer to a question, you know it the next time. As you're trying to match with the other players, if a repeat card is drawn, you may well insert a different word in order to try to match with different people.
