Immersive description: Fog rolls in from the sea and the old tales stir—Arthur lies in Avalon, but something darker has followed. In Avalon: The Riven Veil you command a faction of knights, mystics, or shadowed rivals stepping through the torn veil to claim the island’s power. Send scouts to peel back the mist and reveal hidden ruins, hunt or befriend mythic beasts that tip the balance of power, and scramble for legendary items that can make or break campaigns. Each season reshapes the map and the stakes: push for control of key regions to score settlement slots on your faction board, disrupt rivals, or pursue the Grail’s promise for a dramatic swing in points. Games build tension as choices compound across seasons—will you expand and fortify, gamble for rare treasures, or wage relentless war? Victory goes to the player who best reads the shifting mists, balances short‑term gains with long‑term plans, and cajoles fate itself on the haunted isle of Avalon.
