Formaggio is a standalone expansion that expands and deepens Fromage’s cheesemaking duel. Play on its four new board quadrants—Vigneto, Venetian Canals, Regioni distribution and the cheese‑backed Banca—and draft fresh structure tiles to unlock more strategies and scoring paths. You can also combine Formaggio with the original Fromage to mix any four quadrants for maximum variety.

Gameplay centers on simultaneous worker placement: place your workers on the quadrant in front of you to produce, age and sell cheeses, then rotate the board to reveal a new region and age any cheeses you created. Manage resources, upgrade your creamery, pair cheeses with wines, attract restaurant customers, distribute goods across Italy and even use cheese as bank collateral to earn Prestige Points. Clever timing, efficient production chains and smart drafting decide who becomes Italy’s most celebrated cheesemaker.
