Revenant

1-4 Players | Ages 14+ | 90–120 Minutes

Overview Revenant is a tense, competitive worker‑placement game set in the dark science‑fiction universe of Voidfall. Players command a small crew on the fleeing Revenant fleet, juggling urgent survival tasks with long‑term political maneuvering. Every decision matters: send crew to fight the Voidborn and repair allied ships, gather scarce resources, deploy vessels, or prepare the Revenant’s hyperdrive — and gain Influence with one of the Great Houses while you do it. When the fleet finally reaches safety, the player whose alliances and influence are strongest will seize victory.

How it plays On your turn you assign crew to action spaces across the fleet: bolster the frigate, salvage critical supplies, bolster defences against Voidborn incursions, or undertake diplomatic missions to curry favour with the Great Houses. Actions typically have immediate tactical benefits and also award Influence with a House, so choices must balance short‑term survival against building long‑term power. Fleet positions shift and resources are limited, forcing adaptation and careful timing. Upgrading your Frigate and deploying ships expands your options but also paints a target on your back — other players can contest resources and scramble to undermine your alliances.

Why players will enjoy it Revenant blends tight resource management and meaningful worker placement with a political scoring race. The game rewards flexible planning, opportunistic combat, and clever manipulation of Influence tracks. High player interaction and shifting priorities create dramatic swings in fortune; one well‑timed alliance or a decisive victory over the Voidborn can rapidly alter the leaderboard. The game supports both calculated strategies and bold gambits, making each session feel like a desperate bid for survival and legacy.
