- Set up by placing 12 Dragon cards face down in a 3×4 grid (the Dragon’s Den). Deal 6 cards to each player and keep the rest as the Draw Pile.
- Take turns playing cards that activate effects, help you, or hinder your opponents—from Knights and Wizards to Thieves and Skips. Each card can change the game, and strategic use of effects can turn the tide.
- Complete Quests by collecting three specific cards (King, Queen, and Knight) of the same jewel type (Diamond, Emerald, or Ruby) for 50 points each—early sets are safe from theft, adding strategic depth!
- Draw cards to keep your hand at six, then play continues clockwise.
